David’s Tea Haul

January 18, 2013

In the past year I’ve developed a love for David’s Tea!  All their packaging is so cute and it just sucks me right in! During boxing day they were having 50% off sale and I decided to do a David’s Tea haul! I actually went to two different shopping centers in Vancouver to find items on sale but nothing was in stores so I had to do some online shopping.
It just arrived now. Almost a month later. Not impressed. But they wrote an apology letter and I guess their server just got too clogged up. Anyways this is what I got. In total I spent just over $50!
Holiday Crackers Set- I mainly just wanted Santa’s Secret which was sold out everywhere
The Cocktail Collection- they actually included recipes for alcoholic cocktails with teas!
6 Sample packs they sent for free.
Blooming Teapot- a transparent tea pot I will bring back to residence
Bubble Teapot- giving it to my parents for at home
Asian style mug- a tea mug with a diffuser!
100 pack tea filter- so you can drink tea with any mug.

So that’s my haul! This supply will probably last me for at least half a year! I don’t drink that much tea which is why I like going to David’s Tea as opposed to buying boxed tea at the supermarket too. I can just buy 10g of each flavor and it would only cost $1-$2 each and I can sample so many flavors!

Do you guys enjoy tea? Anybody have a David’s Tea craze too?

We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I'd highly recommend boarding this train if you're transiting between Osaka and Kyoto. ❤️‍🔥🌸
No reservations are required and the fare is just the basic fare (approximately $4!) 🚅
Check online for the most updated timetable but the most current is
9:32, 11:32, 13:32, and 15:32 leaving Osaka for Kyoto!
We showed up 30 minutes before boarding and was the first ones for car 5. Car 3 seems to be the most popular for the cherry blossoms!
Forget your eyeshadow palettes! This little single Forget your eyeshadow palettes! This little single eyeshadow from merit is all I need! 💚
I've been using this a lot on my vacation and it stays on amazingly well all day even with the humidity.
I went for a more unique shade but all the basic browns and neutrals are available too!
.
Would you swap your current eyeshadow for this?

1. BUYING TICKETS 🎟 - Tickets are about $30 CAD each and you can purchase online directly. I'd recommend buying one month in advance to secure the 9am time slot!

2. WEAR A DRESS, if you want 👗- there's warning that the mirrors will reflect and your undergarments would show 🤭 but unless someone's standing right on top of you, it won't be visible. I wore shorts to avoid this but I think a skirt or dress would have been totally fine.

3. GO EARLY 😶‍🌫️ - I know, oldest tip in the book but it took us almost an hour to get there from shinjuku. We arrived at 850am for 9am entry and there was already a huge line. We got in around 930am.

4. READ THE PLAQUES 📜 - either before or after the exhibits, there are plaques that explain the exhibit. Although teamlab is amazing for photos, it adds a layer of depth if you understand what the exhibit is trying to convey. A lot of the interactive artwork shows the connection of humans and the environment we live in. It's super interesting!!
