Review: ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer in Beige

April 4, 2013

This is the studio line tinted moisturizer in the shade beige. I remember in high school ordering the essentials tinted moisturizer and it was one of my favorite makeup items. Let’s see how the studio line performs. It is $3 for 25mL.
The packaging is quite small but I like it because I would never finish a bigger product anyways. I stored this away since last summer because I think the shade was a little orange on me.
Here’s a swatch, blended out.

This is my natural skin color. No makeup on.

I put the TM on the right side (of the picture) of my face. Do you see how it makes me darker?
I thought it would turn me orange but it actually turned into a nice tanned color. I think I will be using this in the coming months! Don’t you love rediscovering items in your makeup collection?
Pros
  • The price- it’s only $3
  • No scent upon application or after
  • Has SPF 20
  • Feels very light on the skin
Cons
  • Small color selection
Recommendations
I would definitely recommend you checking it out! If the color matches you, then you’ve got a great tinted moisturizer for the upcoming summer months at a fraction of the price!!
More ELF reviews to come! After my massive haul I realized I never posted any reviews!

  • Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day! 🌹

Did you know that Armani makes a perfume and a cologne that's best when worn together?! The perfume is called Because Its You while the cologne pictured here is Stronger With You.
When we first started dating, we both bought the same pair of sneakers! But we never ended up wearing them at the same time haha! This will be a good way to match without anyone knowing!

Do you have any matching pieces with your significant other? 👫
  • My first texture Tuesday!! From left to right: rose cream cleanser, rose caviar essence, rose balm 🏵🏵 I've been testing out the whole pixi rose skin treats collection and review is coming later this week!
  • The cold weather has me dreaming of tropical vacations! 🌴🌴 I absolutely loved Curacao. Theres amazing beaches, infinite infinity pools, the most colorful buildings. The whole island felt so safe to just wander around too!
Where are you going on vacation next?
  • I recently tested out 3 shades of the Physician Formula The Healthy Lips! I think liquid lipsticks are just not for me but these are close!! The shades are very wearable (you can see how they look on me on my blog)

The initial application is velvety smooth just like the name suggests. But I still find the product dries and sinks into my lip lines. Maybe I'm just extra crinkly 🤭

Find these at London Drugs!
  • I'll admit I'm a wimpy west coaster! ❄❄ Was walking outside in -1 yesterday and legit felt like my face was gonna fall off 😆😆😆 Looking forward to more sunshine and warm weather!
  • Too pretty to dig in 😍 Charlotte tilbury is an expensive brand but I love how classy and luxurious their products feel. Not to mention fantastic quality.

Do you have any products from them? I'll be sharing a review at the end of the month!
  • Feeling inspired by the opportunities available on this platform!! 😇 I hope to put more effort in growing my account in 2019!
I'm curious how much time you spend on Instagram each day?? Tell me in the comments!!
  • Which nail is not like the others? 👩‍🎨 #gifted

The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel collection now has a matte top coat! Swipe to see the difference it makes. I love that my nail still feels smooth to the touch and not gritty. It turns 1 polish into 2 different looks! You do not need an UV gel lamp and but I found these took a bit longer to dry than normal polish.
Wearing shade 652 Neblue-la

Thanks for having me in the #sallysquad!
