Collective Haul!

Here it is guys! I've been in Hong Kong for 2 months now!! And I realized I haven't even posted a haul yet. The first month was slow for me with shopping, but in the past month I ramped up my game ;) So here's what I've bought so far in Asia.

These shirts were from the markets in Bali. $8 CAD total for all three. Perfect for the beach as a cover up, or else I'd have to wear a bandeau underneath it.

Royal blue tunic- H& M  7 CAD
Snoopy Shirt- Uniqulo  5 CAD
Blue Tee- H& M  7 CAD
Here's a couple basic shirts I bought at the mall, clothing is really expensive in HK actually and I haven't found anything amazing yet!

Juju Whitening Mist- Watson's   10 CAD
Evian Facial Spray- Color Mix   4 CAD
Lieole Waterdrop BB Cream- Color Mix   12 CAD
Laneige Blackhead Pore Strip- Changi Airport  11 CAD

Everything here is from Watson's. I needed some essentials. These totaled to be around 10 CAD
Round Facial Cotton Puffs

The packaging has a drawstring which is super neat!

Lastly, I went to Bonjour yesterday and picked up a couple more things I really needed.

Dove Body Wash  Free with Vaseline
Vaseline Body Lotion  4 CAD
Tweezers  3CAD

MUJI Drawers

Hi Everyone!

This post is long due! I just want to quickly share one of my purchases in Hong Kong, the MUJI drawers.

I was browsing around the store and I didn't realize it was THE muji store. When my friend told me, I quickly ran over to pick out a set of drawers.

I picked the five drawer one because I didn't bring all my makeup over to Hong Kong.
I also bought a glass jar for my brushes.

The little candle is from IKEA but after buying it I realized we are not allowed to light them in residence.

So that's my mini makeup set up on my desk right now! Currently I'm in Bali and I have a great travel post coming soon as I've been out and about for the past 10 days while on my reading break!

3 Favorite Fall Lipsticks

It's that time of year again, when we pull out our scarves and knee high boots. It's also the time to switch up our makeup. Although here in Hong Kong, the weather's so hot it still feels like summer time!

But I really couldn't wait to pull out my deeper colored lippies and here are three of my favorites!

1) Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm
Review: http://notanobession.blogspot.hk/2013/02/review-burts-bees-tinted-lip-balm-in.html

This lip balm goes on super smooth and leaves a coat of color. I'd say for a tinted lip balm the color is actually quite pigmented. It also leaves my lips glossy and really smooth looking. Love it for everyday on the go.

2) Stila Lip Glaze in Black Cherry
Swatches: http://notanobession.blogspot.hk/2013/01/swatches-stila-lip-glaze-in-jolly-and.html

The color of this lipgloss is more red than brown, but the darkness of the color makes it very appropriate for the winter time. I like the clicking of the tube to push the lipgloss up. It is a bit sticky but I don't mind it too much. Has a slightly sweet scent but is not overpowering. And the lipgloss has the perfect amount of pigmentation.

2) Urban Decay Lipstick in Apocalypse

This lipstick looks scary in the tube, but is actually a beautiful plum color on the lips. I use it quite lightly to achieve the color I want, but if you build it up, it can turn dark brown. The lipstick smells great and looks smooth on the lips.

L to R: Burt's Bees, Stila, Urban Decay

Do you turn to darker lips for the fall/winter time? What's your favorite product for achieving that look?
