What I’m Wearing #4 Winter Glowy Skin

December 15, 2013

I started this series earlier this year but stopped after I left residence and had too much makeup to play with back home. I’m bringing it back though because I’m trying to finish up some more makeup items before I pack everything and return to Vancouver.
The theme for this month is glowy skin!
Face Products

1) Lioele Water Drops BB Cream: This gives a really nice sheer coverage and feels refreshing on the skin.
2) ELF Baked Blush in Rich Rose: I apply this in the hollow of my cheeks to double as a contour and a blush
3) MAC Extra Dimensions Skin Finishing Powder in Whisper of Gilt: I put this on my cheeks and slightly higher as a higher.
This is what layering the highlighter over the blush looks like.
Eye Products

4) Shisedo Fine Eyeliner: For my upper lashline, I can make a nice precise wing
5) Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara: Nice natural everyday mascara that doesn’t feel crunchy
6) Urban Decay Primer Potion: Put this over my lid before putting on eyeshadow which I switch up
7) Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero: Use this on my lower lashline and waterline
8) Bombay Browbar Brow Powder: Use this with a brush to fill in my brows
Lip Products

9) Burt’s Bees Tinted Lipbalm in Red Dahlia: Keeping it simple with a dark berry lip balm
10) Etude House Shini Star Lip Balm: One of my new purchases, this smells so yummy! Not much color though

Here’s the finished look! Nicely sculpted and shiny cheeks! The Lioele BB cream also offers a nice finish for a flawless finish. Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope to bring back this series for 2014!

Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.

📍 Ragtag, Shinseibashi, Osaka
We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I'd highly recommend boarding this train if you're transiting between Osaka and Kyoto. ❤️‍🔥🌸
No reservations are required and the fare is just the basic fare (approximately $4!) 🚅
Check online for the most updated timetable but the most current is
9:32, 11:32, 13:32, and 15:32 leaving Osaka for Kyoto!
We showed up 30 minutes before boarding and was the first ones for car 5. Car 3 seems to be the most popular for the cherry blossoms!
Forget your eyeshadow palettes! This little single Forget your eyeshadow palettes! This little single eyeshadow from merit is all I need! 💚
I've been using this a lot on my vacation and it stays on amazingly well all day even with the humidity.
I went for a more unique shade but all the basic browns and neutrals are available too!
.
Would you swap your current eyeshadow for this?
