I’ll be sharing my review on the Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Pink. This is one of the lip glosses that came in the Sephora Gimme Some Lip Set. I’ve been using it in the past month or so.
Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Pink
It has very simple packaging but it feels nice and heavy. ย There is .1oz of product in here so it’s not bad for a deluxe sample! Using retail price this sample would be $19 and the whole set was only $30 so it’s definitely such a great deal when Sephora puts out those sample sets.
Swatch on hand- nude with a hint of pink
Swatch on my lips.
Pros
-Pigmented color. I like how it can actually give my lips a nude look
-Great texture. It’s not sticky at all which is a huge plus for some people!
-Moisturizing
Cons
-The smell. It’s suppose to be vanilla/creme brulee but it’s too sweet/strong for my liking! Kind of smells like a drugstore lipstick
-If you put too much on or want to layer on the color it sinks into the lines a bit. See my photo
Overall
-I don’t think I would repurchase the full size just because it’s so expensive. I feel like there are lower price alternatives that would do a good job. But I do enjoy the product and will happily finish up this sample size.
-The brand is known for their simple and sophisticated packaging but if I’m paying a high end price I like my packaging to be unique or really eye catching
