Product Roundup #2: Mascara Edition

I did one of these at least a year ago with my tinted moisturizers but I thought it'd be fun to compare my mascaras.

What I originally said:
"One thing I always wonder when I read beauty blogs is when/where did they buy all the makeup and are they even using it?
So my product roundups will be a collection of items that I'm currently using. As well as information on where I got it, and how close I am to being done the product!"

Mascara Edition

1) Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
Where did I get it: Sephora VIB Haul
Cost:  The Tarte set was $72
How long have I had it: Since December 2013
How much have I used: 98% I actually have only tried it once

2) Benefit They're Real Mascara
Where did I get it: Sephora Birthday Gift
Cost: Retails $12 but free
How long have I had it: April 2013
How much have I used: 90% I think I'm almost done with this mascara. Was amazing!

3) Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara- Review
Where did I get it: Off Urban Decay's Website
Cost: $5, on sale!
How long have I had it: Since summer 2012 but only started using it in September 2013
How much have I used: 40%

4) Maybelline Great Lash Curl
Where did I get it: Target
Cost: $3 USD
How long have I had it: Summer 2012
How much have I used: 5%, I actually haven't used this very much

5) NYC Big Bold Curl
Where did I get it: Influenster Box
Cost: Approx $4 retail but free
How long have I had it: Since December 2013
How much have I used: 2%, I actually barely used this as well

So it seems like I got good deals for most of these mascaras haha! My favorite is Benefit They're Real but it's almost done :( The other four are all okay but nothing is amazing! On to finding my next favorite mascara!

Any recommendations?

    1. Oohhh I heard great things about those two mascaras.

The great lash was a bit watery for my liking so it was really easy to smudge on my lids. It did a good job but nothing fantastic! But I liked how small the wand is so it was easy to reach the inner and outer corners.

  2. I love that Tarte mascara! Still haven't found my HG, but lately my favourite thing is just to mix two different mascaras for the effect I want. Thanks for commenting on my blog!

  3. I am currently using a 2-piece from IT Cosmetics ~ the first piece of the duo is called TIGHTLINE - a full lash length black primer with peptide enhancing serum paired with the second piece of the duo, the actual mascara. The primer "finds" all the finer lashes so in my opinion your lashes look fuller.
