Review: ELF Studio Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter

My boyfriend recently started playing with the DSLR I had at home and helped me take these photos! I always just use a point and shoot as I still haven't really figured out how to use a DSLR haha. But hopefully you guys enjoy these photos!

Today's review is for the ELF Studio Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter. This product has two sides and each side has a doe foot applicator. I have the color in Light.

The concealer side is quite liquidy and unfortunately it doesn't provide really good coverage. It could be nice to brighten up the eyes but I found the color wasn't a great match for me.

The highlight side was also quite thin and liquidy. It's white with shimmer in it. The white blends out to be mostly transparent but there are fine shimmer that's suppose to "highlight". I'm not sure if this is a nice look under the eyes though.

Here are the swatches. The concealer is on the left, and the highlighter is on the right in white

Here's what it looks like blended out.

I was trying to show that there are sparkles in the highlighter side, but it doesn't show up unless it's in a certain type of indoor light.

I've tried using this highlight on my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. But it just doesn't perform as well as high beam or watts up. Overall this was a disappointing product but I'm glad I got to try it out. The good thing about ELF products is that they are so affordable so it's good for experimenting.

Have you tried this product before? Got any good concealer suggestions for me?
