Today I’m bringing you my November NYC Beauty Pro challenge! Better late than never right? π And how appropriate of the “Ice Skating at Rockfeller Center” theme with the snowfall we had last night.
For this theme, I wanted to create a natural flushed look appropriate for the chilly weather.
Look at the snowfall! It’s quite impressive for Vancouver
I was really excited by the package this month because we got some products that are new to me! The details of the items in the picture are:
Show Time Volume Waterproof Mascara $3.99
-Black
Cheek Glow Blushes $4.99
-652West Side wine
Applelicious Glossy Lip Balms $3.49
-353 Pink Lady
-354 Apple Blossom
Swatches: Pink Lady, Apple Blossom, West Side Wine
The lip balms have a cute apple design in the center and smells really fruity. Don’t expect too much color pay off but it’s perfect for younger girls to swipe something on their lips or even for makeup junkies having a natural day.
For this look I swiped a beige color eyeshadow all over the lid and applied the NYC Show Time Mascara. I dusted a bit of powder all over just to even out my skin and then applied NYC Cheek Glow Blush in West Side Wine. Although in the swatch, it was pretty pale, on my cheeks it’s a nice healthy flush of color. Lastly I finished it off with the NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in Apple Blossom.
The whole process definitely took less than 5 minutes and would be a great daily routine for the winter time!
And a silly picture with my red mittens! Sorry NYC, got to add some Canadian pride π
Hope you enjoyed this easy look! Have you tried any of these NYC products? What’s your go to winter look?
