GOSH Forever Lip Shine Swatches & Review

New for spring/summer 2015, GOSH cosmetics released 6 shades in their Forever Lip Shine line.

If you ever browse Shoppers, you might have seen a glimpse of GOSH cosmetics! I was not too familiar with this brand before, but I fell in love with their forever lip shines. Read on to see swatches of 6 of the colors and a review of the product!

The Forever lip shine is a lip crayon with a twist up mechanism. The size of it is on the smaller side of lip crayons so you can get the color on more precisely. The packaging of it is also more sleek maybe due to the fact that there is only 1.5g of product.

Formula: I was really impressed by the formula, it glided on very smooth and gave a beautiful sheen. I don't feel anything on my lips and it goes on weightless. There's no tackiness or stickiness.  The only thing I didn't like was that even though it FELT so hydrating, I do not think it actually is! So just a warning that this does not unfortunately double as your lip balm even though when you apply it, it feels so moisturizing

Colors: There are ten colors in the whole line ranging from nudes to intense reds. From the colors I've tried, some have a bit more shine while others have more of a shimmer look.

Wear Time: I get about 1-2 hours with the lighter colors and 2-3 hours with the darker ones.

These three colors are on the sheer side.

001 Baby Baby- This is a very light pink and goes on a bit milky and settles into my lines. I think this color is the least flattering on me.

003 Love Story- This is a deeper mauvey rose and is a perfect MLBB shade for my pigmented lips. I love the look of this on me and is perfect for work!

005- Flirty Dreams- Medium toned coral pink. This color is a bit more sheer than the other ones but makes for a really nice natural summer lip.

These three colors are much more opaque.

006 Magic Monday- Bright coral red with pink flecks. This goes on very pigmented but I'm not sure if I like the glitter in this shade.

007 Funky Friday- This shade is a medium toned pink with a blue base and a purple duochrome. This is super unique and I really like how it looks. There's also a bit of flecks in this shade but it doesn't bother me as I love the duo chrome look of it.

009 My Valentine- A perfect brick red. This is an amazing statement lip. Be sure to use lip liner as my application is a bit woozy.

Overall, I'm a huge fan of the formula and the sleekness of the packaging. My favorites are Love Story, Funky Friday and My Valentine. These retail for $15 which is a bit high but I find the quality of these very comparable to higher end products which are in the range of $20's. You can find these products at your local Shoppers Drug Mart!
