Spring Clothing Haul + Save Money Shopping

April 25, 2016

The days are getting warmer and I’m beginning to add bits of floral and pastel into my wardrobe. Read on to see some of the recent deals I found at the mall with a spring clothing haul! I realized that I haven’t bought clothes full price in a long time and wanted to share some of my recent finds. These purchases mostly happened as I was just cruising through the mall and found a good deal.

H&M Kimono Jacket- $10 (original $24.99)
Found this in the clearance section. This has a kimono vibe but is made of a pretty thick cotton material. I actually find this pretty good for work as a casual blazer. I can’t find this online but I have seen this style with different pattern in stores.
Topshop Knotted Dress- $27.50 (original $58)
I found mine in the sale section as I was helping my friend shop around! I love the knotted design as it gives something extra to the dress. But the fabric is so comfy and makes it appropriate for casual outings too. The dress hits mid thigh so although originally I wanted to wear it to work it is too short. This would be really good for when the weather gets just a few degrees warmer!
Wilfred Free Diapason Shirt- $24.99 (original $50)
I got this shirt in the color Heather Wild Indigo which is no longer available but see current color choices on Aritzia. This shirt is so comfortable and flattering on the body! The jersey material is stretchy but also holds the right stuff in. I’ve seen this in material used in dress and tank tops that I’d want to grab. Aritzia warehouse sales are a great way to pick up items for cheap!
Nine West Velika Boots- $83.99 (original $295)
This is probably the highest percentage off although it’s still pricey. Nine West has been having a 70% off on their fall/winter styles so you can score boots for as low as $50! The boots are made of leather and this style has a wider calf. It took a couple wears to break it in but now it is very comfy! I have pretty big calves so I haven’t found tall boots that fit me for two years haha, so when these went over my jeans, I said yes.

If you do a lot of your shopping online, make sure to browse Groupon Coupons before you check out. You probably know Groupon from the time sensitive group buying deals but they recently launched a service called Groupon Coupons. It’s entirely free and an efficient way for shoppers to find thousands of coupons and exclusive promo codes from popular stores and companies like Macy’s, Travelocity, ULTA, Adidas, Office Depot, Peapod, and so many more.

I took a browse through and although some of them are a bit gimmicky, there are some good ones as well! Here’s a small list of the brands they work with.

–Aeropostale
–Macy’s
–Target
–American Apparel
–Forever 21
–GoDaddy.com for you bloggers 😉

On the day I took the screenshot, they were having a coupon code for Kate Spade that took 50% off their Cedar collection. The Cedar Street Maise bag was available for $149USD! Whheeoo.

Some of the deals on Groupon are available on the retailer’s website without using Groupon. However, it is a good place to spot deals, especially one day flash sales that you might not be aware of otherwise. I always google search for coupons before I check out online, so I’d definitely recommend giving Groupon Coupons a look before you online shop.

*Post is sponsored by Groupon Coupons but clothing were purchased by me independently of the post*

Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁 In just a few weeks, the Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁

In just a few weeks, the leaves are going to be golden red at Trout Lake!! 🤩😍. What are your favorite fall foliage spots in Vancouver?
Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤 Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤

Here are the best things I ate in Japan - restaraunt edition! (do you want to see one for snacks? or do you want to see a worst things I ate in Japan?)
Prices of the specific dish listed below.

1. Kanoko, try their special green tea infused soba or normal soba. I loved the dashi and tempura. Perfect lunch option for after visiting the tori gates. 1,300 Yen 🍜

2. Okonomiyaki Sakaba, you can pick the inside filling and a lot of the options were meat based. The sauce on top is delicious and you may be surprised the inside is mostly cabbage and not flour. 1,000 Yen🍥

3. Udon Bo Osaka, I tried out a cold dipping udon and it was excellent! They have a special yuzu sauce and the tempura is amazing too. 1,250 Yen 🍤

4. Roast Beef Ohno, the most affordable way to eat wagyu! Loved the sauces and nice side veggie dishes too. 1,750 Yen 🥓

5. Fuunji, flavorful dipping ramen with a vending machine to order! 1,400 (with egg + bamboo add on)🍱

6. Maguro Koya, holy crap I'm addicted to Ootoro now. So glad we splurged and got the double portion. We also tried the chutoro sashimi to compare cuts. 3,200 Yen 🍣

Hope this provides some delicious inspo for the best food in Japan!
Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.

📍 Ragtag, Shinseibashi, Osaka
