Earlier this year, my boyfriend moved down to Seattle and moved out for the first time. I had so much fun helping him pick out furniture and home decorations. I can definitely feel it’ll be an interest of mine once I move in.
Recently, I heard about bedface which is a company founded in Vancouver that sells high quality, customizable bed sheets. They are having a fall contest to create a recipe and blog post inspired by the names of some of the fall sleep sets. I choose Avocado as I liked the color scheme AND avocados are delicious in any breakfast!
Every time I go down to Seattle to visit, it’s during the weekend and so brunch is a big deal for us. My boyfriend loves cooking though, so we end up eating a lot of brunches in. With the new bedface bed sheets, we may just end up eating our breakfast in bed!
-Avocado
-Egg
-Bacon
-Cheese
-Salt and pepper for taste
Building this amazing breakfast sandwich is based on your personal preferences. Our must have ingredients are listed above but you can add and take out based on your taste buds. I’ve put together a couple of tips that’ll help you create this:
-Put a slice of cheese on your bread and then toast the bread. This will melt the cheese into the bread!
-If you don’t know how to cut an avocado properly, watch this video. I honestly didn’t learn how to cut an avocado until about two years ago. I can’t believe I lived for so long without knowing how!
-Make sure you sprinkle salt and pepper on to the avocado even if it’s going in a sandwich. This will help bring out the flavor!
Bedface sleep sets includes a fitted sheet, duvet cover, and 2 pillow cases. You can purchase any of the items separately as well. I like that you can mix and match colors to create the perfect combination. Currently most of the selection is a solid color but I’m excited that they are bringing out printed patterns as well. The sheets feel thicker and more structured than others I’ve slept on before. However, the fabric is suppose to get softer with every wash so I’m excited to see how that works.
