Pixi Beauty GelTint & SilkGloss Review and Swatches

Today, I will be sharing one of my favorite products that I've tried so far this summer! The Gel Tint & Silk Gloss lip products are the perfect way to achieve a sheer and natural look! Each of these products retails for $12 and can be found at Shoppers.

Each duo has a tint which is a pretty watery consistency that ends up leaving a natural stain on the lips and then a gloss which adds shine. The glossy side is not sticky at all and just helps the lips feel moisturized. There's no scent to any of these products. To see swatches and in depth review of each shade, keep reading!

Pink Tint + Pretty Gloss

Pink Tint: This looks like a bright hot pink in the tube but actually ends up being very wearable. It has a thin watery consistency so when you apply on the lips, the color looks very natural! It adds a hint of brightness to my lips.

Pretty Gloss: This is the least pigmented lip gloss out of the three. In the tub it looks like a light pink with shimmery particles. But on the lips it is mostly clear and I don't see any noticeable shimmer.

Berry Tint + Sweet Gloss

Berry Tint: This shade is the most natural tint out of the three. It has a berry undertone and will give a gorgeous MLBB look! Similar to the Pink Tint, the actual stain is not quite as intense a how it looks in the tube.

Sweet Gloss: The glossy side of this duo actually has a lot of pigmentation! It's medium opacity and in a dusty rose color. The formula is creamy and there's no shimmer at all in this shade.

Beach Tint + Fresh Gloss

Beach Tint: This is the most scary in the tube and makes me think of fall and winter. However, it actually applies more like a burnt red than a brown. It surprisingly still looks very natural on the lips despite it being a bolder color. This is probably because the formula is so light and just sinks into the lips.

Fresh Gloss: My favorite color to wear for lips in the summer time is orange. The gloss formula on this is more watery than the sweet gloss but still has a decent amount of color. I actually really enjoy wearing this one on it's own without a tint.

Overall I've been really loving these! The tint side provides color on the lips but it still looks so natural as the finish mimics your lips. You can also wear the gloss on it's own if you are looking for shine or top it up on the stain. The price is really affordable too for the quality product you get. I would highly recommend these for a natural look this summer!
