NYX Lip Lingerie Review & Swatches

NYX has so many cult favorite lip products, and I finally got the chance to try their Lip Lingerie line! There are 24 shades of nudes and these are the perfect products to get that Kardashian full lip look! I have two shades today that I will show you swatches of and review the formula of the product!

The packaging is in a classic clear tube with a black cap. It's a pretty classic NYX design that's simple and black and white. The applicator is a sponge tip that is typical of liquid lipsticks. The first thing I noticed was that these are highly pigmented! Even the light shade had full coverage over my lips. I have pretty pigmented lips so I was very impressed by how these colors showed up.

The lighter shade is 19 Dusk to Dawn and is a beige with a coral undertone. I usually dislike light shades on me and this was no exception. The color just washed me out and I also find lighter shades to be less forgiving on dry flakes.

The shade that I'm obsessed with is 17 Seduction and I recently mentioned it as part of my Back to School Essentials list. It is a very wearable brown with hints of red! It is the perfect fall color and definitely makes my teeth look whiter. I find the formula to actually be creamier than the lighter shade and camouflages any imperfections on the lips.

When you first apply these, the formula is very creamy and feels moisturizing. It will dry down in a few minutes and remain quite comfortable. What I was really surprised about was how transfer-proof it is! Once it dried down, I brushed my finger across my lips and noticed that none of the color came off! I then gave the back of my hands a light kiss and again none of the color came off! It does still feel a bit tacky when you purse your lips even after it dries.

I like that the finish of these lipsticks are more of a soft matte, and sometimes even satin finish. I have pretty dry skin so I actually like when my makeup is dewy. I like the slightly creamy finish on these as opposed to super matte lipsticks.
