Last Minute Gift Ideas: The Body Shop Gift Sets

December 21, 2017

Do you have all your Christmas shopping done? If not I have some last minute gift ideas! The Body Shop got your back with a ton of pre packed gift sets and all within a friendly budget! Their online shop currently has 40% off almost everything, and ebates is also doing an 8% back so you’ll really get great bang for your buck! I have a few different sets to share but definitely browse their website as they have a lot more options that might best suit your needs.

Drops of Youth Skincare Collection

The Body Shop has an impressive selection of skincare items. The Drops of Youth collection is meant for tackling the first signs of aging. I feel like I’m starting to get to the age where this is necessary and will definitely start looking at anti-aging benefits in my skincare. The set contains the Youth Concentrate as well as the Youth Cream and both I believe are full size. The two products are very highly rated on The Body Shop site so I’m excited to try them.

The gift is packaged in an all green box with circles that look like ornaments. The added touch is the silver bow that keeps the box closed and makes this look like a nicely prepared present!

Frosted Berry Festive Tin

Like I said in my previous gift guides, I wouldn’t necessarily go for skin care if I’m buying a gift for someone else as skin care can be very specific. I love this next gift which is the Frosted Berry festive Tin ($28) and it comes in this oversized purple ornament! You can close up the lid and present it as the circular ornament, it even has string so you can hang it on the Christmas tree!
Inside, you will find a travel size of the Shower Gel, Body Scrub, Body Butter and Hand Cream. This is the perfect size to use a scent just during the holiday season. Frosted Plum has a fruity scent but also a bit of a holiday spice, it is really delicious!

Spread the Love Gift Set

I am always in need of hand creams and The Body Shop makes them in so many scents! This would be a great gift to give to coworkers as they are all individually packaged and great for splitting! The Spread the Love gift set ($40) contains these scents: Mango, British Rose, Shea, Strawberry, Moringa, Pink Grapefruit!
The formulation of The Body Shop hand creams are very thin and light. I personally like this as I just need a bit of hydration usually after I wash my hands. But if you are using your hands heavily the formulas might not be hydrating enough for you. Either way though, the scents are amazing and so fun to throw into your purse!

Strawberry Premium Gift

Lastly, a classic gift set to cover all body care basis, the Strawberry Premium Gift ($46) will be your best pick. The set includes a full sized Shower Gel, Body Butter, Body Scrub, Body Mist and a travel sized hand cream!
The box is in shades of red and includes messages of values that The Body Shop believes in. The box is also tied up with a bow to start with so it’s gift ready! The inside of the lid also has a crossword puzzle that adds a bit more fun to the gift. This is definitely great to gift as a pampering gift or even for yourself to get all your body care items in a pretty box!
There are a few other gift sets that caught my eye including the Robot Money Box and the Mask Sampler Set. I love that so many of the products come gift ready as I’m horrible at wrapping presents! Hope this helps for anyone still looking for a last minute gift idea!

Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁 In just a few weeks, the Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁

In just a few weeks, the leaves are going to be golden red at Trout Lake!! 🤩😍. What are your favorite fall foliage spots in Vancouver?
Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤 Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤

Here are the best things I ate in Japan - restaraunt edition! (do you want to see one for snacks? or do you want to see a worst things I ate in Japan?)
Prices of the specific dish listed below.

1. Kanoko, try their special green tea infused soba or normal soba. I loved the dashi and tempura. Perfect lunch option for after visiting the tori gates. 1,300 Yen 🍜

2. Okonomiyaki Sakaba, you can pick the inside filling and a lot of the options were meat based. The sauce on top is delicious and you may be surprised the inside is mostly cabbage and not flour. 1,000 Yen🍥

3. Udon Bo Osaka, I tried out a cold dipping udon and it was excellent! They have a special yuzu sauce and the tempura is amazing too. 1,250 Yen 🍤

4. Roast Beef Ohno, the most affordable way to eat wagyu! Loved the sauces and nice side veggie dishes too. 1,750 Yen 🥓

5. Fuunji, flavorful dipping ramen with a vending machine to order! 1,400 (with egg + bamboo add on)🍱

6. Maguro Koya, holy crap I'm addicted to Ootoro now. So glad we splurged and got the double portion. We also tried the chutoro sashimi to compare cuts. 3,200 Yen 🍣

Hope this provides some delicious inspo for the best food in Japan!
Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.
