Kenzo World Eau de Toilette Review – New Spring 2018 Fragrance

February 22, 2018

I am so over winter, but the rain just keeps coming in Vancouver! If you also can’t wait for spring to come, the new Kenzo World Eau de Toilette might be what you need while the weather slowly gets warmer! I can’t stop looking at this beautiful packaging and have been spritzing this fresh floral fruity scent on repeat!
This perfume comes as a variation on the original Kenzo World and Kenzo World Intense. All the perfume in this series have the signature “eye” shape packaging but with different colors on the lid and the actual perfume. All 3 fragrances have notes of peony but this one is a fresh and sparkling take on the original scent. I’m a big fan of light and fresh scents so this one is a big hit for me!
Notes
Pear
Peony
Almond
Orris

The packaging of the Kenzo World Eau de Toilette is so unique and artsy just like the brand. I’ve actually recently also taken a liking to Kenzo clothing including their signature tiger logo! The combination of baby pink and rose gold makes for a perfect vanity display item. The box of the Kenzo World Eau de Toilette is also gorgeous on it’s own. The baby pink box and the rose gold lettering is so elegant and luxurious.
The perfume opens up very bright and fresh! There is definitely strong notes of both pear and peony. It has that sparkling smell as if you are biting into a juicy crisp pear! After a bit of wear time, there is more powder scent coming through giving it a feminine feel. It lasts usually a half day for me but you do get some of the base notes lingering around all day. I absolutely love the bottle though and can’t stop looking at it! This is going to be a fabulous perfume as we get into the spring/summer months, but I’m getting a head start by wearing it now!
Kenzo World EDT Review Flatlay
Put this on your wishlist as it’ll be available March 21st, 2018 at Hudson’s Bay and Sephora!

Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁 In just a few weeks, the Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁

In just a few weeks, the leaves are going to be golden red at Trout Lake!! 🤩😍. What are your favorite fall foliage spots in Vancouver?
Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤 Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤

Here are the best things I ate in Japan - restaraunt edition! (do you want to see one for snacks? or do you want to see a worst things I ate in Japan?)
Prices of the specific dish listed below.

1. Kanoko, try their special green tea infused soba or normal soba. I loved the dashi and tempura. Perfect lunch option for after visiting the tori gates. 1,300 Yen 🍜

2. Okonomiyaki Sakaba, you can pick the inside filling and a lot of the options were meat based. The sauce on top is delicious and you may be surprised the inside is mostly cabbage and not flour. 1,000 Yen🍥

3. Udon Bo Osaka, I tried out a cold dipping udon and it was excellent! They have a special yuzu sauce and the tempura is amazing too. 1,250 Yen 🍤

4. Roast Beef Ohno, the most affordable way to eat wagyu! Loved the sauces and nice side veggie dishes too. 1,750 Yen 🥓

5. Fuunji, flavorful dipping ramen with a vending machine to order! 1,400 (with egg + bamboo add on)🍱

6. Maguro Koya, holy crap I'm addicted to Ootoro now. So glad we splurged and got the double portion. We also tried the chutoro sashimi to compare cuts. 3,200 Yen 🍣

Hope this provides some delicious inspo for the best food in Japan!
Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.
