I have always had red cheeks so I was very excited to see if IT Cosmetics Skincare can help solve the issue! The brand was actually created because the founder suffered from eczema and many of the products are skincare focused. I’ve been using Confidence in a Cleanser, Confidence in an Eye Cream, and Bye Bye Redness for about 2 months now. I do think the redness has decreased quite a bit on my cheeks and I wanted to share with you how I felt about each product!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Moisturizer
I think the star of the show is definitely the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness moisturizer. It has a light green tinge to it and the formula feels like a cross between gel and cream. It’s definitely very refreshing and cooling but also quite hydrating. I was scared that my dry skin would flake during the winter while using this but it surprisingly provided enough moisturizing in addition to calming down the skin!
The ingredient list is full of words I can’t pronounce but it does include extracts of colloidal oatmeal, aloe, cucumber, turmeric, collagen and peptides. It comes in a nice sturdy glass jar and I like the brand engraving on the lid. As the product feels like a cross between a gel and cream, it spreads really easily and is quite thin in consistency. The product absorbs very nicely and doesn’t leave any greasiness at all! It is really so light but still amazes me that it can moisturize my dry skin.
Overall, I’m really happy with the results of this moisturizer. I used it almost every night and sometimes in the mornings as well. My skin feels smooth, plump and I never had issues with dry flakes. I also definitely see a decrease in the redness of my skin although it’s not completely less red. To put into perspective, I would before always put foundation on before I put on blush/bronzer, otherwise the colors won’t show well. Now, I can just use a primer before cheek products. Available for $62 online at itcosmetics.
It Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream
In this skincare routine, I’ve also been using the IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream. This is an anti-aging eye cream that will help brighten, repair and transform. I don’t have too many issues around my eye area and no aging concerns yet. I only used this 2-3 times a week and while it felt nice, I don’t think I saw any differences.
This eye cream was made based on their best selling Confidence in a Cream. The product has a light peach color to it and it’s actually the exclusive apricot tint and Drops of Light technology to visibly brighten and color correct. The formula is a medium consistency compared to other eye creams I’ve tried. It definitely feels nourishing and plump when tapping into the skin around the eyes. Skincare ingredients include: collagen, hyaluronic acid, chrysin, licorice root, avocado and squalene.
You can see here that the cream has a bit of a thicker consistency. It is quite moisturizing to the skin and caused no irritation. Unfortunately I just did not see any big changes but I also do not have that many concerns around my eye area. Available for $48 on itcosmetics.
It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser
On most days, I either take off my makeup with a makeup wipe or with micellar water. On especially heavy days I use a cleansing oil to dissolve all my makeup. So I have not been using normal gel/cream type cleansers for a while but these are usually the type of products I keep in my shower. Although I don’t prefer using a cleanser to take off my makeup, this product definitely can remove all makeup even mascara. It is sulfate-free and soap-free, and although it still slightly irritates my eye if I’m trying to take off eye makeup, it is not stinging like a typical cleanser.
The product has a light lemony/fruity scent that is very nice. The consistency is quite liquid and has a light yellow tinge. It doesn’t foam up very much and stays more as a cream/gel cleanser. I really like that it doesn’t make my skin feel dry and tight when I step out of the shower. The cleanser also contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, colloidal oatmeal to provide skincare benefits even as you are cleansing. There’s nothing life changing about this cleanser, but it does do its job very well and I have no complaints about it! It’s a large size and only $38 available on itcosmetics.
Overall
The packaging of IT Cosmetics products are classy but also playful. The brand really appeals to me but I realized they have quite the following for people aged 50+ as well. I like that the products are all clinically tested for results and the #1 goal is to be effective. The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness moisturizer has definitely been a game changer for me and I would recommend you try it if you have redness that you don’t like on your skin. I’ve also had a super positive experience with their CC cream and am glad I found good skincare to complement their makeup line.
