With all the hype over the royal wedding, I thought I’d review some products from one of UK’s most famous beauty brands. The Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blushes feature two coordinated shades to help you define and bring color to your cheeks.Β The products are on the expensive side but the quality and packaging always makes me feel like a royal.

I featured these blushes recently on my Best New Cheek Products for spring. So if you are looking for inspo, definitely take a look there for great blush and highlighter options!
There are 6 shades in total, some with very provocative names. Each comes with a full size mirror and classic deep purple Charlotte Tilbury packaging. The blush is actually quite thin and I like that you get a full size pan and mirror without a lot of bulky packaging. There are also some cute details like a star on the metallic rim of the pan. Some of the shades have shimmer and some are completely matte. You pick up medium pigmentation and it’s easy to build up color. The thing that impressed me the most was how long it wears! I can easily still see my blush at the end of the work day 10 hours later!
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Sex on Fire
Like I said, the names of these are quite provocative. My favorite one to use out of the 4 I have is Sex on Fire. It features a really natural tawny rose shade on the outside which you swish around the cheeks to define. Then I would dip my brush right in the center and pat this on the apple of my cheeks. I would have never thought to use a darker shade on my cheeks but I really like this neutral toned look. Both shades in this blush are matte.
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Love Glow
The brightest combination of color in this range is Love Glow. I don’t particularly like using pink blushes as I naturally have red cheeks so I feel like it doesn’t look flattering. This one was too pink on my skin tone as well. I would recommend to go in with a light hand and to build up the color if necessary. I usually actually do blushes before eyes, but a tip on Charlotte Tilbury’s website is to do blush last so you can see how much colour is needed.
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Love is the Drug
Love is the Drug is a cool shimmering pink. The outside shade contains a slight shimmer while the inside shade is a brighter pink but is matte. This is a best selling shade but still pulls a little too pink for my liking. I do like that this gives you a little glow on the cheeks! The light flex technology in these blushes helps to capture light and to remit it to give you a glowing complexion.
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Ecstasy
My second favorite shade is Ecstasy which is a peach pink. I think coral colours are really flattering on myself so this is a nice balance between a pink color and coral to warm up the face. The blushes were all great quality. I didn’t have any issues with chunkiness and the pigments were smooth, finely milled, and transfers to the skin easily.
Demo
In retrospect, I should have used more contrasting shades in my demo. I used on Ecstasy on my right cheek (left side of photo) and Sex on Fire on my left cheek (right side of photo). If you closely compare, you can see a difference in the color. However, it gives off a similar effect. I didn’t put any highlighter or bronzer on so you can see what the blush does on its own. I think it gives a nice glow to the face.
The use of two coordinated colors is also really nice to create a defined multidimensional look. I don’t think you’ll be able to see much difference of the shades once applied to the cheeks so you don’t need more than one shade. My favorites are Sex on Fire and Ecstasy but the other two shades are better if you prefer a more pink toned blush. Let me know what shades you gravitate towards and whether you can see any difference in the two shades I tried!
