I rarely go to the drugstore these days so it’s hard for me to stay up to date on new releases. But I did hear about the L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted collection (probably on Instagram) and was intrigued to try out the products! The first thing that caught my eye was the L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Blush. The packaging is so beautiful and summery, but these shades are wearable all year round!
Basics
Name: L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Blush
Shade: 5 in Total
Size: 9g
Price: $10.99 USD or $18.99 CAD
The Paradise Enchanted collection also includes an eyeshadow palette, mascara primer, and a black felt tip eyeliner. Apart from the beautiful pink packaging, the blushes have a light sweet peach scent which reminds me of the Too Faced White Peach Palette! Although the lid is only plastic with a transparent top, if you flip up the pan, there is a full size mirror. I’m glad they included a mirror but I’m not too sure why they didn’t just put it right on the lid. By doing so, they could have made the packaging more sleek. Overall though, I still think the packaging is quite cute especially for the drugstore.
L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Blush – Bashful
The shade I’ve been wearing the most is Bashful. Unfortunately the blush cracked during shipping but luckily the product still stayed in the pan. It is a gorgeous coral shade with a golden sheen. There’s no sparkle anywhere but it gives a really pretty glow on the skin. I find coral shades very flattering as it provides color but it doesn’t mimic “red cheeks” which is what I use foundation to cover up! In the photo below, the blush looks very natural and light, but it’s actually a big difference between the before and after photo!
L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Blush – Fantastical
The other shade I have is a lot brighter with more pink pigment. Luckily it still has a bit of coral to the tone so it doesn’t have a clown like effect on the cheeks.

I have both shades of the blushes on so you can see the minute difference. I have Fantastical on my right cheek (left side of the photo), and Bashful on the left cheek (right side of the photo). The application for both shades was easy! The powders are very smooth but what matters is how it applies when using an actual makeup brush! Luckily, pigment transfers very easily and the color easily shows up in one go. I do tend to add a second layer of Bashful as I like the golden sheen but only 1 layer of Fantastical is enough. I also can’t wait to try the shade Charming which is a beautiful terra cotta and it’ll be so gorgeous for fall and winter!
On top of foundation or primer, these blushes usually last about 4 hours on me. Although I think it has to do more with the staying power of your foundation as I’ve been wearing a more light weight one that wipes off easier. I’m really happy with these shades, the formula, and the wonderful fruity scent! There has a been a huge trend towards “peachy” makeup and packaging but surprisingly this is one of the first items from the drugstore to really nail it!
