Charlotte Tilbury Daytime On The Go Kit

July 18, 2019

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite luxury makeup brands! I have a few of their lipsticks which I save for special occasions, and their Cheek to Chic blush is my most popular post on the blog! The products are expensive though so any chance to save a few dollars is worth mentioning. That’s why today, I’m sharing the Charlotte Tilbury Daytime On the Go Kit! Available online, this fully customizable kit contains 3 full size products and offers a saving of $13. Also, don’t miss their SUMMER SALE on now!

What’s Included in the Charlotte Tilbury Daytime On the Go Kit

The Daytime on the Go Kit retails for $140 and here is what’s included

  • Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder (select from 3 shades)
  • Magic Away Liquid Concealer (select from 16 shades)
  • Matte Revolution Lipstick (select from 5 shades)
  • Mini powder brush
  • Canvas makeup bag with 2 stick on patches

To get even more of a saving, make sure to sign up for their emails to get 10% off your order!

Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

I have dry skin so I rarely ever reach for powders. I do remember this Paul & Joe powder that I enjoyed because it totally smoothed out my complexion. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Powder ($58 available online and in Sephora) is a very lightweight powder that is more of a setting powder than a powder foundation. The powder is pressed tightly into the pan but it gets picked up with a brush easily. I didn’t notice too much of coverage in the sense of foundation but my skin texture looks much smoother especially from far away.

Here I have 02 Medium and the color works nicely on my skin right now. There are only 3 shades but as it doesn’t leave too much color on the skin, choosing a color should be pretty easy! I think this product would work much better for those with oily skin to set makeup and to create a flawless canvas.

Magic Away Liquid Concealer

Recently I’ve been trying out many new concealers (my favorite being the YSL Touche Eclat) and I feel a bit more experienced in critiquing the formulation. First off, I love the packaging of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer ($38 available online and at Sephora)! You twist the pen on the bottom to push the product up and it comes through this diamond shaped cotton puff. What I like is that in the back, it is a clear window for you to see how much product is left!

This is a high coverage concealer perfect if you want to erase your imperfections. The product is not that blendable though so where you put the product is where the coverage will be. I prefer my products to be more liquidy and creamy, probably because I have dry skin. So again, similar to the powder, I think this concealer would work better if you had oily skin.

It is extremely pigmented though and I had the brightest eyes going into work on Monday morning. It works well on blemishes too. It’s a bit hard to blend though and you should use a dabbing motion when applying this. I have shade 04 Fair.

Matte Revolution Lipstick

I already have a few shades of the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick ($39 available on line and at Sephora) and all the shades are so beautiful. I’m so glad the kit gives you the choice of choosing a lipstick shade that you actually want to wear! I picked Bond Girl which is described as natural berry red.

I do not like matte lips but I love the matte revolution lipsticks! The finish is closer to a satin finish than a matte. The natural dimensions of your lips still show through and these never dry out my lips! Highly highly recommend these for a night out as they have superb staying powder as well.

Before and After

Take a look at the before and after shot of using just these 3 products! I notice that my pores are much smaller when I use the concealer. The powder makes my skin texture nicer although it does not provide much pigmentation. The lipstick shade is to die for!

Unfortunately this kit is actually out of stock online but make sure to check out the Online Exclusives section for savings! These are sets that Charlotte Tilbury puts together and only available on their website. Add on the newsletter savings and this is the best way to save a few dollars on this luxury brand. Also HURRY because they have a summer sale section! I’ve never seen this before but there are a few good picks!
