I’ve been working a corporate job for about 5 years now andย I wanted to share the best beauty products for the office. These are things I always kept next to my computer!
1. Handcream
One beauty product I always keep at my desk is handcream! My hands always feel dry after washing them so having handcream is essential! I’ve tried quite a few different brands but my favorite brands are The Body Shop and L’Occitane. Both of them have a thin consistency that sinks in easily with beautiful scents. Other suggestions are EOS (for a really light layer of moisture), Soap & Glory (for a sugary sweet scent), and Bioderma Atoderm (if you have severely dry hands).

The Body Shop Hand Creams: $10 for 30mL but frequently on sale
L’Occitane Hand Creams: $12 for 30mL
EOS Hand Lotion: $3 for 44 mL
Soap & Glory Hand Food: $11 for 125 mL
2. Facial Mist
Most corporate offices have air conditioning blowing throughout the day which dries out the skin. I like using a facial mist to rehydrate the skin and also to refresh my eyes. If you stare at a computer all day, you could benefit from a facial spray too! I like to look for one that has a even fine mist so it hydrates the skin without disturbing makeup. My favorite facial mist right now is the Jowae Hydrating Water Mist. It has a large fine mist and the most beautiful sakura flower scent. Other less fragrant options that I’ve enjoyed are the Caudalie Grape Water and Bioderma Hydrabio Mist.
Shop Now:
Jowae Hydrating Water Mist: $19 for 200mL
Caudalie Grape Water: $14 for 75mL (no scent)
Bioderma Hydrabio Mist: $13.90 for 300mL (no scent)
3. Stress Release Essential Oil
Work gets stressful and frustrating sometimes. I find having an essential oil at the desk to be a lifesaver in those moments when I just need to take a deep breathe. The best scent to use is lavender and I like to just put a few drops on my wrist and breathe in. The product I was using was a sample size of this works Deep Sleep Breathe In. Saje and Muji also makes a lot of essential oils and I enjoy their products a lot! If you don’t want to put the essential oil on your skin, you can use a few drops in a tissue and breathe in from the tissue.

This Works Deep Sleep Breathe In: $36 for 8mL
Saje Stress Release: $26.95 for 10mL
4. Perfume Samples
Something really simple to keep at your desk is a sample of perfume. I love trying out different scents but I often forget to put it on in the morning. Having a perfume sitting in front of me at work reminds me to put it on! Make sure though that your coworkers don’t mind! I had a huge Atelier Cologne advent calendar during Christmas so I’m still working through all those samples! You can also find several different perfume tester kits at Sephora for a really good price!

5. Lip Balm
Lastly, we can not forget about the lip balm! I rarely ever reapply lip balm other than at night time. Having it sitting right next to me at work reminds me to reapply. Your lip will get dry too from the air conditioning and talking. I
really like minty lipbalms and have gone through several Burt’s Bees in my life time! I also recently finished the Rock Mountain Co lip balm which is nice and made in Canada! One of my favorite lip balms though is the fresh sugar collection. I love the soft texture and light lemony scent but the price is hard to swallow so I get them in gift sets!

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm: $5.99 for 4.25g
Rocky Mountain Soap Company Lip Butter: $5.75 for 5g
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment: $32 for 4.2g
