Ole Henriksen Happy Juice Brightening Skincare Set

November 26, 2020

Yay for holiday beauty sets, the best time of year! Today I’ll be sharing the Ole Henriksen Happy Juice Brightening Skincare Set! Vitamin C is such a hot skincare ingredient and one that has made big differences in my skin. This set includes 4 products to brighten skin and reduce fine lines. The kit retails for $90 CAD and contains $166 CAD worth of product. There’s 1 full size item while the rest are quite generous sample sizes.

The term “brighten” was always confusing to me. I don’t want my skin to be whiter? But, think of it as when someone’s skin is glowing versus dull. Also, I’ve found Vitamin C really great at clearing up unwanted pigmentation from acne.

Shop the Kit on Sephora, and on Ole Henriksen

Ole Henriksen Truth Juice Daily Cleanser

The Truth Juice Daily cleanser is a gentle gel creme cleanser. I usually like these basic cleansers and leave more intense skincare treatments for the serum and creams. This cleanser helps to loosen and lift dead skin and does a good job of cleaning off makeup. It’s a very runny consistency with a bright scent. I didn’t try it over my eyes as I have eyelash extensions on, but I did not notice any stinging when I washed my face.

60mL – retails $16

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum

I find serums to be the powerhouse in any skincare routine. The formulation is made to penetrate deep in the skin to deliver results! This ingredient list is pretty impressive with 15% Vitamin C, 5% PHAs and hyaluronic acid. I usually like to use hyaluronic acid for my dry skin as it’s very hydrating. But Vitamin C is wonderful for reducing the look of dark spots or acne scars. So, it’s awesome that this serum combines both ingredients!

I’ve found my skin to look more even in tone with just a few uses! This is also suppose to firm and reduce fine lines and wrinkles but I have not noticed any difference in that category.

30mL – retails $86

Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme

The moisturizer in this kit is the Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme. It is a medium weight moisturizer but feels a bit lighter due to the gel texture. The smell reminds me of an orange creamsicle, it’s so yummy!

I’m finding this to be hydrating enough for my dry skin even during the winter time. Continuing with the Vitamin C theme of this kit, this product aims to brighten, firm, and reduce fine lines! I really enjoy the texture and hydration factor of this product.

35mL – the 50mL retails for $59

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme

I haven’t been using eye creams regularly but I’m starting to notice lines under my eyes! This product actually looks a little shimmery in the pot but leaves no traces on the skin. It also includes Vitamin C as well as collagen. These ingredients work together to brighten the under eye area and targets fine lines!

I enjoy the consistency of this product and it feels very soothing on the eyes. I haven’t noticed a big difference yet in my skin but I’m determined to start the preventative anti-aging around my eye area.

7.5mL – the 15mL retails for $52

Here’s a quick look of the textures of the products! From left to right: Truth Juice Daily Cleanser, Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum, C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme, and Banana Bright Eye Creme.

The set is fantastic value to try out a full skincare routine! My skin has been feeling very soft and smooth. It’s also hydrated which is great as it’s usually so dry during the cold weather! Highly recommend this set for the holiday season.
