Charlotte Tilbury Natural Makeup Look (Zoom Call Ready)

April 5, 2021

Can you believe it’s been a year of working from home?! I take video calls all the time at work and I wanted to share how I get zoom call ready with a Charlotte Tilbury natural makeup look! I was going to call this a 5 minute routine but funnily I realized I’ve already done a 5 minute routine post with Charlotte Tilbury in the past. So here’s a quick 4 step natural makeup look tutorial!

1. Brighten Up with the Magic Away Liquid Concealer

Luckily with work from home, I’ve been getting more sleep than usual! But it never hurts to add a little coverage over small imperfections for a flawless canvas. The first step in this natural makeup look is to use the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer over any spots that you may want to even out. I usually get dark pigmentation after a pimple so I’ll dab some of this over those spots as well as drawing an upside triangle under my eyes to brighten the area. This cushion applicator eliminates the need for a brush and this full coverage liquid concealer reduces appearance of dark circles, blemishes and imperfections! I have shade 4 which is fair medium with neutral undertones.

2. Smooth Out the Complexion with Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

I reach for liquid foundation for most of my makeup looks, but sweeping on powder all over is much faster! The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder is the perfect product for a poreless, soft focus look especially over webcam. I just take a big powder brush and swirl it in this pan and apply all over. I find this makes my skin look really smooth on camera and it’s so easy to do in the morning. This product has light reflecting ingredients to diffuse light and is very finely milled and not chalky! I also tend to stay away from powders as I have dry skin but this product includes rose wax and almond oil to hydrate the skin which is fantastic.

3. Sculpt the Cheeks with the Cheek to Chic Blush

I am obsessed with the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blushes! I have 5 now in my collection and my review is consistently one of my most popular posts on my blog. Each of the blushes come with an outer ring of color which I usually put along my cheekbones almost like a contour. Then the inner ring of color is the glow shade which I put on the apple of my cheeks! The shade I picked for this look is Walk of No Shame which is a berry rose color with a champagne glow. The darker color will create more of a contrast which will show up better on camera in your zoom calls!

4. Add color with Matte Revolution Lipstick

To coordinate with the blush, I have here the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Walk of No Shame (previously called Walk of Shame). The Matte Revolution formula is amazing! It’s creamy, pigmented, easy to apply and does not slip around. I have a small collection of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and really enjoy them. The lipstick bullet has a square edge on one side and it’s quite helpful for getting a clean line. If you feel that matte lipsticks are too drying, definitely give this one a try. This darker color makes me look polished and put together even for an 8am meeting.

Before and After – Charlotte Tilbury Natural Makeup Look

Here are some pictures to take you through the steps! I have lash extensions on which is why my eyes look done already. I can easily do these 3 steps within 5 minutes and I like that it minimizes the redness on my cheeks, smooths out the skin, and adds a bit more dimension.

Hope you enjoyed this Charlotte Tilbury natural makeup look tutorial! It’s a very simple way to look put together for your zoom call meetings in a pinch. I’ve linked the products down below if you want to recreate the look!

Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁 In just a few weeks, the Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁

In just a few weeks, the leaves are going to be golden red at Trout Lake!! 🤩😍. What are your favorite fall foliage spots in Vancouver?
Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤 Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤

Here are the best things I ate in Japan - restaraunt edition! (do you want to see one for snacks? or do you want to see a worst things I ate in Japan?)
Prices of the specific dish listed below.

1. Kanoko, try their special green tea infused soba or normal soba. I loved the dashi and tempura. Perfect lunch option for after visiting the tori gates. 1,300 Yen 🍜

2. Okonomiyaki Sakaba, you can pick the inside filling and a lot of the options were meat based. The sauce on top is delicious and you may be surprised the inside is mostly cabbage and not flour. 1,000 Yen🍥

3. Udon Bo Osaka, I tried out a cold dipping udon and it was excellent! They have a special yuzu sauce and the tempura is amazing too. 1,250 Yen 🍤

4. Roast Beef Ohno, the most affordable way to eat wagyu! Loved the sauces and nice side veggie dishes too. 1,750 Yen 🥓

5. Fuunji, flavorful dipping ramen with a vending machine to order! 1,400 (with egg + bamboo add on)🍱

6. Maguro Koya, holy crap I'm addicted to Ootoro now. So glad we splurged and got the double portion. We also tried the chutoro sashimi to compare cuts. 3,200 Yen 🍣

Hope this provides some delicious inspo for the best food in Japan!
Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.

📍 Ragtag, Shinseibashi, Osaka
We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I We made it on the kyo-train garaku by Hankyu and I'd highly recommend boarding this train if you're transiting between Osaka and Kyoto. ❤️‍🔥🌸
No reservations are required and the fare is just the basic fare (approximately $4!) 🚅
Check online for the most updated timetable but the most current is
9:32, 11:32, 13:32, and 15:32 leaving Osaka for Kyoto!
We showed up 30 minutes before boarding and was the first ones for car 5. Car 3 seems to be the most popular for the cherry blossoms!
