Lip products are my favorite makeup products and I can’t believe it’s been so long since I posted about a lip product. Last year, I shared my Clarins Water Lip Stain review and now that masks are off, I’m all about the shiny lips. With Spring coming, I want to share with you how I get hydrated and shiny lips with the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil.
Basics

Name: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil
Shades: Available in 10 different shades
Size: 7mL
Price: $29
Find it atΒ most department stores andΒ Clarins online
Packaging

Similar to most Clarins products, the packaging is quite simple. One thing I love about this product is the jumbo applicator. The large tip just hugs around the whole lips and deposits a ton of gloss all in one swipe. The size of this lip oil is a bit shorter and fatter than most lip glosses.
Formula

I am obsessed with the formula! Everything from the feel, to the smell, to the look is just perfect. The formula glides on very smooth and feels luxuriously plush when I smack my lips together. Additionally, my lips get dry during the fall and winter and I love that this covers any flaky skin and makes my lips look plump and shiny.
There’s some nourishing oils within the formula as well such as:
- Jojoba oil
- Hazelnut oil
- Rosehip star extract oil
Shades
I was mostly using 05 Apricot this summer – check out my Instagram reel! I’ve currently switched over to 01 Honey for a clear look and then 10 Plum because I love a magenta lip.

Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in 01 Honey

01 Honey is the least pigmented of the shades and is basically a clear gloss.
Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in 03 Cherry

03 Cherry is a deep red in the tube and it deposits just a wash of red over the lips.
Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in 04 Pitaya

04 Pitaya is very pink in the tube but don’t be intimidated, this is one of my favorite shades.
Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in 05 Apricot

Okay, I think I was swatching too many colors so my lips were on the redder side. But 05 Apricot provides a coral wash of color!
08 Strawberry

08 Strawberry provides a visible pink tint and is a great option if you want a bit more color.
10 Plum

Lastly, 10 Plum is the darkest shade and leaves a beautiful magenta color on the lips.
