This is a new style from Gucci and at an excellent price point. It is much bigger than some of the other sub $1,500 bags from Gucci making it way more functional for daily use. The strap is a thick fabric strap which is very trendy right now. I really like the beige/oatmeal color combo as it’s a beautiful white for winter but the classic beige Gucci canvas color is available too!
Gucci Horsebit 1955 Mini Bag

Here is another pick from Gucci that would be the perfect first designer bag! This design combines the classic Gucci canvas pattern with the iconic Horsebit hardware. I can’t believe how good of a deal it is because the slightly larger version of this retails for $3,870! This is a very similar look for half the price. The size looks perfect for every day use and it comes with an adjustable leather strap. If you already have the classic canvas pattern, this bag also comes in the Jumbo GG print which is a fun addition.
Valentino V-logo Mini Leather Bag

Valentino introduced this new logo a few years ago that now rivals their Rockstud collection. I love this bag due to the unique strap which is half chain and half leather. I also really like the half moon shape of this bag which is definitely a statement piece. Since the design is quite bold, I picked a black on black color scheme but more vivid colors are available. You’ll likely find this on sale so this would be an amazing designer bag to buy this Black Friday!
Saint Laurent Gaby Bag

The Saint Laurent Loulou bag has had quite a few price increases in the last few years! However, Saint Laurent just introduced Gaby which is their lowest priced mini bag! It’s a really pretty look with quilted diamonds throughout which actually reminds me quite a bit of Chanel. This is a small bag but should be enough to fit all your daily essentials!
Saint Laurent Brown Le Monogramme Bag

Here is another crazy deal, sub $1,000 for Saint Laurent! This one is canvas with leather detailing. It’s a camera shape and size so will fit a lot of stuff. The monogram on this is quite small and classic so it’s not obnoxious at all. Also, the YSL monogram is not as well known yet. This kind of reminds me of the Celine print that is so popular right now. I’d definitely get on this!
Givenchy Tote Bag

Here is another pick for a spacious bag! The Givenchy Mini Tote comes with a top handle and a thick cross body strap. It gives you two ways to wear this bag at a fantastic price. I like this Khaki color as well as the Beige one. I just bought a Givenchy 4G box bag on sale from SSENSE last fall, so hopefully this goes on sale too!
