Fawn Over You is described by Benefit as a Cafe au Lait. It was released in the It girl collection in Spring 2009. I originally bought it for my mom because she doesn’t have any eyeshadows and I thought this is the perfect basic neutral shade.
I would describe it as a champagne taupe color. The texture is amazingly smooth and is a dream to apply. I just dug it out of my collection and started using it this month and I LOVE it! <3
If I’m in a hurry I would just apply this all over my lid. Otherwise if I had more time I’d add in a darker color to my crease.

Would I recommend it? Hmm it depends. The color is not the most unique and at $18 there are plenty of dupes out there. However I would consider purchasing the Benefit Velvet Eyeshadows in other colors because the packaging is sooo cute, you got a lot of product (3g) for your money and the formula is top notch.
These may not look identical in the pan but I’ve seen swatches and they all have the same effect. This is the perfect color for a wash all over the lid.
