Sephora Haul! VIB Sale + Boxing Day

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday season and happy new year! Can you believe it’s 2014 already?! This is super belated post but it’s a Sephora haul from the VIB Sale. I bought the items when I was still in Hong Kong but I shipped my items to my home address! It was like coming home to a Christmas Present I gave to myself haha!! I am back in Vancouver after four months on exchange in Hong Kong!

1) Tarte of Giving Makeup Set

This set comes with a makeup palette, 8 lip glosses, and a bunch of tarte’s best sellers!

2) Sephora Gimme Some Lips Set

Currently loving the Laura Mercier but not sure about the NARS and Tarte. I reviewed the buxom lip gloss here!

3) Sephora + Pantone Eyeshadow Kit
This was kind of interesting but I think the colors are a bit sheer for my liking

4) Kat Von D Eyeliner

An interesting olive color eyeliner. I haven’t used it yet.

5) The New Black Nail Polish

Just used this yesterday, it leaves a peppermint smell which is why I bought it. The pink and red are great but the white doesn’t really show up.

6) Samples
Two perfumes and a Guerlain foundation. Also redeemed 100 points for a Julep top coat which is amazing!

Boxing Day

I also got a sweater from Street. It’s kind of an interesting pattern and fit but I really like it! I got a Microsoft Surface from my parents which will be perfect for back to school next week.

I tried to stay away from makeup for Christmas this year as I think I have enough to last me 10 years!! But my goal next year is definitely to use up more of my items. I’ve been trying to control myself with purchases this year but with HK and the VIB sale, I’ve got quite a bit of new toys to play with!
