Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Memorable

August 27, 2014

This post will be a review and demo of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Memorable. This is a deluxe sample size from the Tarte set I bought during Christmas time.
The normal full size Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush is .2oz and costs $31CAD at Sephora.
The Amazonian clay is suppose to have properties that are good for oil, dry and combination skin.
The deluxe sample size was still really cute and nicely packaged! Also the 1.5g of product literally lasts forever! I’ve barely even made a dent in mine! The difference compared to the full size is that it doesn’t have a mirror inside and that it’s a smaller circumference and slightly thinner.
The shade Memorable is a darker pink with a bit of shimmer. I actually really like to put this where I would normally contour. That way it contours and adds color in one step. I thought the pigmentation was really great and the color showed up nicely on my cheeks! I haven’t noticed the ingredients do anything for my skin, but I didn’t expect it to!

After

Overall, I really like the color and the formula of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. I know I’m never going to even finish the 1.5g so I don’t mind sticking to sample sizes when the packaging is so cute! I would definitely recommend you to try out some Tarte products especially when they start releasing sets again for the holiday times!

Do you have a favorite brand for blushes? What color are you wearing for the transition from summer to fall?

Inspired by the changing fall colors of the Japanese maple, this beautiful kissu lip mask now has a berry red tint. I love the moisturizing squalane and Japanese peach extracts. My dry lips have never felt so hydrated and soft. Definitely give this a try if you're looking for a smooth and plump lip with a hint of color.

🍮 The packaging is also stunning with the maple motifs on the lid that makes this display worthy in any bathroom or vanity!

Here are my top three face creams for the changing weather especially if you have dry skin!

Clarins Extra Firming: I love the day and night version of this cream. The night is even more heavy duty and creamy so sometimes I use the day version only 💫

It's got a beautiful scent and amazing collagen technology to plump the skin!

Aestura Atobarrier Lotion: this is a newer korean brand thats available now at Sephora. Part of the amorepacific family, so you know it'll be good!

The packaging is very simple and unassuming but I love how this soothes the skin! Its quite lightweight in texture but I used this when I was sick and it saved my nose after blowing into tissue a gazillion times a day! 🩵

Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier: im always a big fan of drunk elephant. This one is my favorite face cream from the brand. I love the pump packaging and this is perfect if you want hydration and barrier support!
