Finish Five by Fall Finale!

Ahh I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since I started on “Finish 5 by Fall“. I’m so thankful of the other ladies who participated with me! The intro post includes the rules and what I started with.

I’m here to share the finish five by fall finale today!!

Results

1) Vicious Bakery Lipgloss- Completed

I had about half when I started and was able to use it up in about a month with off and on use. It’s a thin texture, non-sticky, slightly scented lipgloss.

2) Buxom Lip Cream in White Russian- Completed

This was full to begin with but I finished it up with daily use for a month! The color is a bit pale for me but nude glosses usually don’t look that good on me. This one really stung surprisingly due to the mint. I do like Buxom glosses but this shade wasn’t the best for me.

3) MAC Sheen Supreme in Asian Flower- Completed?

This was 3/4 full when I started. I used it a couple of times but I felt like it was smelling funny and also feeling funny so I scraped it. Also, there was an additional 25% of the product underneath that you need to scoop out to use!

4) Maybelline BB Cream- Completed?

I used this sooo much at the beginning of the summer. Since it had SPF, I’d wear it on an almost daily basis. I decided to squeeze it out into a clear bottle to see how much I had left. It’s hard to see but if you watch the video I point to how much is left. I chucked the rest as I felt like the formula was separating.

5) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara- Completed

Hard to tell how much I had to start but I’ve used this mascara for 1.5 years and it’s definitely time to say bye. Good starter mascara from the drugstore!

6) Abercrombie & Fitch Perfume- In Progress

I’m pretty happy with the progress I made. You can see I started at the black line 3 months ago. I think I will continue spraying this into my room as I’m transitioning to a warmer scent for fall.

7) Benefit Bella Bamba- Fail

I used this a couple of times but really do not see any progress…darn it!

8) Essence Gel Eye Pencil- Fail

I also used this a couple times on the waterline as well as in this music festival tutorial. However, I just couldn’t find a place in my daily routine for this and it unfortunately broke so this is goodbye.

If you’d like to watch my equally fail video, please be my guest. It’s only 4 minutes short. And yes I know the background noise is terrible and my voice is too soft but I had fun filming it. I tried to use Audacity and watch tutorials to reduce background noise but it just didn’t work. Tips?
