bliss grapefruit+aloe body butter and soapy suds

July 29, 2016

As the weather is getting warmer, I like to switch my bath and body products to something with a fresh scent! These two bliss products have been sitting in my cabinets waiting to get used and I’m excited to finally take them out and review how well they performed! The bliss grapefruit + aloe scent is an uplifting citrus that makes you feel pampered.

bliss grapefruit + aloe soapy suds body wash + bubbling bath

This duo purpose product can be used as a body wash in the shower or a poured into a bath to create bubbles and foam I really like the convenience of a pump as it makes it super easy in the shower. The scent is fantastic and this stuff lathers VERY well! If you use a loofah, one pump would be enough for the whole body. Even with just using your hands, you can get a very foamy lather. I haven’t yet tried it for a bath as I’m not a fan of sitting in my own water.

The body lotion has a matching scent and pairs really nicely with the body wash. The texture is in between a body lotion and a body butter. It sinks in quickly and does not leave the body greasy! This is especially noticeable after I just used the DHC body lotion for a month and didn’t realize how greasy that felt until I switched to this. The lotion smells so nice and refreshing and it really does smell like “sparkling” grapefruit.
Overall, I love how these two products smell and it keeps me feeling fresh in the summer! The products are more expensive, but it feels very pampering. Additionally, a lot of bliss products can be found on sale now at Winners, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack etc. Go take a look at those places if you want to try bliss products without paying full price!
Side note: I had the photos sitting in a draft for almost a year! Oh man, procrastination!

Inspired by the changing fall colors of the Japanese maple, this beautiful kissu lip mask now has a berry red tint. I love the moisturizing squalane and Japanese peach extracts. My dry lips have never felt so hydrated and soft. Definitely give this a try if you're looking for a smooth and plump lip with a hint of color.

🍮 The packaging is also stunning with the maple motifs on the lid that makes this display worthy in any bathroom or vanity!

Here are my top three face creams for the changing weather especially if you have dry skin!

Swatched from left to right: clarins, drunk elephant, aestura

Clarins Extra Firming: I love the day and night version of this cream. The night is even more heavy duty and creamy so sometimes I use the day version only 💫

It's got a beautiful scent and amazing collagen technology to plump the skin!

Aestura Atobarrier Lotion: this is a newer korean brand thats available now at Sephora. Part of the amorepacific family, so you know it'll be good!

The packaging is very simple and unassuming but I love how this soothes the skin! Its quite lightweight in texture but I used this when I was sick and it saved my nose after blowing into tissue a gazillion times a day! 🩵

Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier: im always a big fan of drunk elephant. This one is my favorite face cream from the brand. I love the pump packaging and this is perfect if you want hydration and barrier support!
