This year has been a good holiday season of beauty reviews! I shared holiday sets from some of my favorite brands like Too Faced and Fresh Beauty. I also got to try out some new brands like Fenty Beauty and Marc Jacobs beauty. Today though, I’ll be talking about budget beauty picks! These items are under $20 and are the best beauty stocking stuffers from the drugstore!
Ecotools Daily Defined Eye
Ecotools is one of my favorite brush brands. The secret to taking your makeup to the next level is definitely using the right brush. So this set of 5 eyes will give you the right tools to create blended looks. You can find this set at London Drugs for $12.99 which is an amazing deal! The tray in the packaging is also reusable so you can use it to store all your brushes! Another one of my Ecotools favorites is the Facial Mask Mates set.
Essie Treat Love & Color
Essie consistently comes out with beautiful trendy nail colors. The Treat, Love & Color Strengthener comes in a plastic packaging which makes it look more giftable. The new collection comes in over 30 shades and uses a formula that strengthens your nails in just one week. If you’re like me, my nails definitely get weaker and break easier when I use nail polish consistently. So this gift at $10 is great for those that love wearing nail polish consistently.
Makeup Revolution Palettes
If you like glam makeup and palettes but need a drugstore price tag, Makeup Revolution is for you! Their palettes are inspired by popular brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay, Natasha Denona, and Too Faced. The quality is actually really amazing for the price! I’ve tried a few of their eyeshadow palettes and cheek palettes before. The products I have pictured above are the Revolution Reloaded – Newtrals 2 ($7 USD) and Face Quad Incandescent ($15 USD).
NYX Powder Lip Cream
NYX is known for their classic black minimalistic packaging. But for Holiday 2018, they came out with the Sugar Trip collection which features whimsical designs and bright colors. Pictured above is the Whipped Wonderland Powder Lip Cream in Cake Pop ($12). I thought this makes a great present because it already comes with a ribbon on top and also a cute cardboard box packaging.
Real Techniques Miracle Cling
For the girls with limited counter space, Real Techniques has a new product which can help organize your brushes and save space! The rubber organizer sticks to mirrors, tiles, or other smooth bathroom counters. There’s no adhesive and it’s even reuseable. I personally have tons of Real Technique brushes and would highly recommend them! This is available at London Drugs for $13.99.
Maybelline Tattoo Brow
I thought this was a really fun product to try for beauty lovers! The Maybelline Tattoo Brow claims to last 3 days! You brush the product on to add pigment, then peel off to reveal beautiful brows that last 3 days. I haven’t tried it yet and actually expect it to be kind of messy to work with. But I think it’s a fun gift to give for someone who already has all the makeup basics.
Ardell Magnetic Lashes
To complete a glam look, false lashes are essential! This year, magnetic lashes got very popular! I honestly have not quite figured out how to make it work but Ardell makes some popular ones. For each eye, there is an upper and under lash. There are magnetic bars along the band so when you put the two pieces together, they bindΒ and stick on your lashes without glue. There are five styles available and the Double 110 pictured above is one of the more natural options.
Physicians Formula Organic Rose Oil Lip Polish
Canadian winters are known to be cold and drying. The Physician Formula Organic Rose Oil Lip Polish comes in an elegant jar with a little stir stick. Simple scoop out a generous amount, exfoliate your lips and wipe off with a towel. It smells nice and provides moistuirzation and exfoliation. It’s a handy addition for any beauty lover! It’s especially nice to use at night time for a little pampering.
NYX Lip Lollipop
As part of the Holiday collection, NYX also has the Land of Lollis Trio ($19). The value on this is not as good but look how cute the packaging is! It’s made for gifting!Β Inside you’ll find 3 different shades of the intense Butter Gloss. These are sample sizes but it’ll give you a chance to have a variety of shades.
