The brand is expanding on this super popular line up with the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation which claims better skin in two weeks! With ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, can it improve my bare skin? I’ll be sharing with you my thoughts and a demo of this product.

The It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation is housed in a simple glass jar with a pump for dispensing. There’s nothing fancy about it but I like that it’s transparent so you can clearly see the shade and also how much you have left.
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation Formula
This product was created to give better skin in two weeks with ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, aloe vera extract, and vitamin E. The pump easily dispenses the foundation which is quite liquid and provides medium coverage. The finish is a satin look which looks natural but still quite matte. It really does feel weightless on the skin and I often forget I’m wearing any foundation.
Although they share almost the same name, the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation is a totally different product from the CC cream!
Differences are:
- The foundation is more liquid while the CC cream is more dense and creamy. While both are made for all skin types, I would say the CC Cream is slightly better for those with dry skin.
- You can control the coverage of the foundation easier. If you use less, you get less coverage. The CC Cream is more of a medium-full coverage
- CC cream contains SPF50 as the “skincare” component while the foundation does not contain any SPF
Shades
On the IT Cosmetics website, each shade is shown with a different model. I thought this was super helpful as you can see it applied on the face and also their hair and eye color. There are 40 shades in total and it spans the whole spectrum of fair to dark. I have 30 Medium Cool which is a very good fit. It is a tiny bit dark but I am probably at my palest right now.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation Demo
Here is a before and after of using the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation. I really love the air brush finish it has. I can see some dryness and the texture of my skin when I go right up to the mirror. But from one feet away, my skin looks really flawless.
I didn’t notice any specific skin improvements but I was also only using this foundation about once a week instead of daily. During the winter time, my skin is very dry and with other foundations, I’ve noticed issues with the product clinging to dry skin. But I don’t have that issue with this foundation.
I find that using contour and blush afterwards really helps to bring out the best of this product (see photo in the Shades section). I like adding the dimension back to my face with the Smashbox Contour Kit.

I am really pleased with the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare! This formula will work for a lot of different skin types and the shade selection is impressive. Don’t throw away your skincare products for this, but it’s always nice knowing that the product sitting all over my skin all day contains nourishing ingredients. I highly recommend this for a medium coverage foundation that works well for every day use!
