An Introduction to Indigo Beauty & Wellness Shop

June 7, 2022

I feel I’ve grown up with Indigo and watched them transform over the years. From visiting Chapters as a kid (who remembers the Starbucks smell), to shopping for home decor in recent years, now I’ll be buying skincare at Indigo’s Beauty & Wellness shop! The Indigo Beauty & Wellness shop is headlined by a few big brands but is also a way for you to discover new upcoming brands that’s been expertly curated. I’m going to be sharing just a few of the exciting finds in this post.

Origins at Indigo

One of the well known brands that you’ll find at at Indigo is Origins. The brand believes in products powered by nature which proven by science. I was sent two of their best sellers: Origins Mega Mushroom Soothing Treatment Lotion and the Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. Indigo Beauty & Wellness Shop is selling almost all of Origins products online and in their new physical shop in the Robson Street location in Vancouver! I’m also really enjoying the Origins GinZing SPF40 Tinted Moisturizer!

Shiseido at Indigo

If you know beauty, you’ll know Shiseido. This international power house is known for their range of sunscreens and is especially popular in the Asian markets. Indigo is selling a variety of Shiseido’s skincare items including the Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate which I love. Also, I’m very excited to see the Facial Cotton (although it’s currently out of stock) as it’s such a luxurious upgrade to normal cotton pads.

Blume & Three Ships

I’m excited to see Blume and Three Ships at Indigo’s Beauty & Wellness Shop making them a lot more accessible. As a brand, Blume wants to change the perception of perfect skin to healthy skin. The Meltdown oil is their best-seller and it’s an effective way to fight acne either as a spot treatment or mixed in with your moisturizer. I had to take a photo of the back for you to see the amazing ingredients!

Another brand I’ve seen quite a bit on social is Three Ships, which is a Canadian company focused on transparency and accessible pricing. I totally agree that there’s a lot of “green-washing” in the beauty industry and I hope they can keep true to their mantra as they grow. Featured above is a sample size of the Dew Drops which is a serum containing hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Those are 2 ingredients I love in my skincare and who doesn’t want even hydrated skin!

Wildcraft

Wildcraft is a brand that’s completely new to me. As a small company, they continue to handcrafted their products in small batches in Toronto and feature 100% natural formulas. This eye serum comes in a unique packaging with a rollerball and a delicious scent. The ingredients are unique too featuring turmeric for anti-inflammatory properties and yarrow to brighten skin.

The Detox Market at Indigo

One of the coolest things about Indigo’s new Beauty & Wellness Shop is their Detox Market. It is a curated assortment of clean beauty and skincare from cruelty-free and eco-conscious brands. I’ve been blogging for so long but these brands were all new to me!

  • Graydon
  • Sahajan
  • Schaf
  • Alpyn Beauty

There’s a lot more for you to discover in the Detox Market and these brands are just a sampling of what’s available!

What do you think about Indigo branching into beauty & wellness? Which of these brands caught your eye?

So much fun comparing and contrasting mascaras!! T So much fun comparing and contrasting mascaras!! The lancome hypnose mascara has won me over 😍
.
Which one do you like?
Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁 In just a few weeks, the Hellllooo fall! 🍂🍁

In just a few weeks, the leaves are going to be golden red at Trout Lake!! 🤩😍. What are your favorite fall foliage spots in Vancouver?
Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤 Editing this post made MY MOUTH WATER!! 🤤🤤

Here are the best things I ate in Japan - restaraunt edition! (do you want to see one for snacks? or do you want to see a worst things I ate in Japan?)
Prices of the specific dish listed below.

1. Kanoko, try their special green tea infused soba or normal soba. I loved the dashi and tempura. Perfect lunch option for after visiting the tori gates. 1,300 Yen 🍜

2. Okonomiyaki Sakaba, you can pick the inside filling and a lot of the options were meat based. The sauce on top is delicious and you may be surprised the inside is mostly cabbage and not flour. 1,000 Yen🍥

3. Udon Bo Osaka, I tried out a cold dipping udon and it was excellent! They have a special yuzu sauce and the tempura is amazing too. 1,250 Yen 🍤

4. Roast Beef Ohno, the most affordable way to eat wagyu! Loved the sauces and nice side veggie dishes too. 1,750 Yen 🥓

5. Fuunji, flavorful dipping ramen with a vending machine to order! 1,400 (with egg + bamboo add on)🍱

6. Maguro Koya, holy crap I'm addicted to Ootoro now. So glad we splurged and got the double portion. We also tried the chutoro sashimi to compare cuts. 3,200 Yen 🍣

Hope this provides some delicious inspo for the best food in Japan!
Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.

📍 Ragtag, Shinseibashi, Osaka
