Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer Review

January 19, 2023

I have on and off periods with using concealer and right now it’s an every day item! Today I’ll be sharing with you my thoughts and review of the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer. I love so many items from the brand so will this item uphold my high expectations?

Basics

Name: Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer
Shades: 30 Shades, I have 4 and 5
Price: $42
Size: 10 g

Packaging

In Charlotte Tilbury fashion, the packaging is sophistcated, luxurious and a little bit retro. This concealer comes in a rather traditional tube with the iconic Charlotte Tilbury burgundy print color and rose gold cap. The doe foot applicator is small and firm, perfect for being exact with the placement of product. It’s not the most innovative packaging but it’s pretty enough.

Formula

Wearing shade 4 under my eyes
Blending out shade 4

The Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer has a medium to thick consistency and a creaminess that melts right into the skin. The brand showcases this product as a hydrating concealer with a medium buildable coverage.

Along with current beauty trends, this conceal also contains active skincare ingredients! While you conceal your imperfections, the concealer includes hyaluronic acid for hydration, niacinamide for pore minimizing, and Vitamin C for evening the skin tone.

I usually apply it with my finger tips using a dabbing motion. I find this keeps the formula creamy and concentrated. If you find concealer looking dry, avoid dragging it across your skin. I also think a wet beautyblender would apply this product really well.

Shades

Shade 4 on the left and Shade 5 on the right

There are 30 shades in the whole range and I have 4 Fair and 5 Medium. There is a difference in shade as well as in the undertone. Because 4 Fair is a bit lighter than my natural skin tone, I prefer using it under my eyes to brighten. 5 Medium is actually a really good match for me right now during the winter time and I’m using it to cover up any pimples or scarring.

The brand actually suggests 3 different ways to use it. A brighten shade which is lighter than your skin, a conceal shade which matches your skin, and a contour shade which is darker than your skin. I’m glad I got to try 2 of the 3 ways and I have to say it works pretty well!

Their online website does a great job of showcasing each shade and there’s a different model for each shade!

Here's what I found from Ragtag in Japan!! 🤩🤩
I've definitely had my eye on a Dior piece and it's extra special that this design is a Japan exclusive.
I have to say, second hand designer shopping is a lot harder than I remembered! There are SO many stores now, I probably visited 20+ and the prices are not so cheap anymore 🤧🤧
.
A similar card holder from Dior is probably $600 CAD + tax. I got this one for ~$350 CAD. It's in excellent condition but there was no dust bag nor box.

No reservations are required and the fare is just the basic fare (approximately $4!) 🚅

We showed up 30 minutes before boarding and was the first ones for car 5. Car 3 seems to be the most popular for the cherry blossoms!

I've been using this a lot on my vacation and it stays on amazingly well all day even with the humidity.
I went for a more unique shade but all the basic browns and neutrals are available too!

Would you swap your current eyeshadow for this?
