Throughout all these years of blogging, I’ve always wanted to work with NARS! This year, I received this eyeshadow palette by surprise and I’ve been using it every single day! I’ll be sharing my thoughts and three eyeshadow looks using the NARS Orgasm Rising Eyeshadow Palette. These are the perfect looks for spring.

Packaging
I usually associate NARS with their sleek black packaging that has a bit of a rubber-y feel. I was pleasantly surprised by how feminine this eyeshadow palette is. The outside is in a pretty pink color which alludes to the color family inside. Also, the mirror inside reaches from edge to edge to provide as large of a surface area as possible. It’s a 9 pan palette but still small enough that I’d pack for vacations!

Formula
The NARS Orgasm Rising Eyeshadow palette contains two matte shades and a variety of satin, shimmery and metallic shades. I usually gravitate towards satin shades so this is perfect. You won’t have any issues with pigmentation here. All of the shades in this palette have wonderful pay off and stay on well even without the use of a primer.
The photo of swatches was applied with an eyeshadow brush! So you can see exactly how it would show up on your eyes.
Shades
This limited edition palette is inspired by the iconic blush shade named “Orgasm”. NARS has then created a variety of shades that complement it. I see this palette being grouped into three types of looks: light gold, pink, and brown. I find that you can easily use one shade all over the lid and that creates a beautiful look already. Very beginner friendly and you can’t go wrong with any of the shades!
Spring Eyeshadow Looks on Asian Eyes
This is a brown look using the bottom right in the outer third and bottom middle throughout my eyelid space. Then, I used a fluffy brush to blend everything out.
Here is the pink look using the middle left shade on the crease, the upper right shade all over the lid as a base, and then topped off with the middle pink shade.
Lastly, this is the gold look. This really helps to make the eye pop! I used the bottom left on the outer third and then patted the top middle gold shade in the inner half of my lid.
