December is my favorite time of the year for makeup because this is when I can get creative and fun! Holiday parties are the best excuse to go all out with your makeup look. But do not fear, even beginners can nail a sparkly eye with the Stila Glitter & Glow liquid eyeshadow. The formula is really easy to use and will definitely give you a star studded look!

The Stila liquid eyeshadows come in a few different collections depending on the finish. They have the Shimmer & Glow, Glisten & Glow, and Glitter & Glow. Most of the shades in this blog post is from the Glitter & Glow collection.
Stila Shimmer & Glow – Kitten

Kitten is Stila’s iconic shade and it is gorgeous in a liquid eyeshadow formula. It’s a very neutral shade that you can wear on a daily basis. Although I’d say it’s better suited towards those with a lighter skin tone.

Stila Kitten Karma

If you can only choose one shade, I’d recommend this one! The base of this eyeshadow is in the same pearly pink family as the original Kitten. However, it gives off an effect of a kaleidoscope of glitter that is sooo pretty under the light. It was really hard to photograph but you’ll have to trust me that this will make you look glittering in all the best way. There is a tiny bit of fall out through the day but considering how much glitter is in this shade, the staying power is very impressive. I like using this shade on its own.
Stila Diamond Dust

This Diamond Dust shade is best if you want to layer the glitter on top of another eyeshadow. There’s no base color in this shade and it’s pure glitter! Whereas the Kitten Karma glitter leans towards pinks and multicolors, the diamond dust gives off a cool white sparkle just like a diamond. I like using a matte brown shade all of the lid first and then adding Diamond Dust on top.
How to Use the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

Now that you’ve seen all the shades, how do you actually use the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows? I usually use the wand and put prodct in middle 2/3 of my eyes. Then I use my fingers to dab outwards and blend. However, I usually avoid dragging the formula to avoid any streaks. Just use a dabbing motion. I also avoid using brushes as I do not want to be cleaning out glitter for the next few weeks.
