My best to worst posts continue to be THE most viewed articles on this blog. So I’ll keep you guys entertained and continue the series with a brand that I’ve had the pleasure of trying a lot of products from! Clarins has many best selling makeup and skincare products and in this post I’ll share a number of my favorites and a few products that were not my cup of tea.
#1 Clarins Lip Comfort Oil
My absolute favorite product from Clarins is their Clarins Lip Comfort Oil! I have a whole blog post with swatches so you can take a better look. But I love how shiny it is and how it feels on the lips. The jumbo applicator also makes it a bit unique and I can’t live without this!

#2 Clarins SOS Primer
This product is a bit of a sleeper as I don’t hear many people talking about it. But about a year ago, Clarins launched a collection of primers to solve different skincare issues. I love the peach one for even-ing out the skin tone and the pink one for brightening my skin.
#3 Clarins Extra Firming Cream
This product is new to me and already hitting the top of the best Clarins list. It’s the perfect texture for a face cream with a unique technology to boost collagen and improve firmness of the skin. Also, check out the most amazing Clarins event that I just attended!

#4 Clarins Micellar Water
On most days, I only use micellar water to clean my face. I absolutely loved the Clarins Micellar Water! The formula took all my makeup off easily, did not sting my eyes, and the packaging was just right!
#5 Clarins Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen
If you’re looking for a facial sunscreen that has a richer texture that feels like face cream, this is going to be your new favorite product! I used this SPF50 facial sunscreen during my entire Mexico vacay and my face stayed healthy and nourished.
#6 Clarins Cleansing Oil
Another Clarins skincare item that is top of the list for me is the Clarins Cleansing Oil. On the days that I am wearing a full face of makeup, I’ll use this instead of the micellar water. This rinses off so easy and leaves my face feeling very clean!
#7 Clarins Wonder Perfect 4D Mascara
The best Clarins mascara is the Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D. This mascara has a natural bristle brush and it does an amazing job of separating your lashes. It looks really elegant and perfect for every day use.
#8 Clarins Joli Rouge
There are many variations of the Clarins Joli Rouge (ex. shiny, velvet, matte and seasonal finishes). But my favorite formula is actually their original Joli Rouge. It’s got the perfect amount of pigmentation and staying power. I shared one shade in three finishes so you can find your favorite formula!
#9 Clarins Multi-Active Nuit Face Cream
I was using this face cream for a few months in 2024 and really enjoyed the results. If you’re looking for the best Clarins products, definitely give the Multi-Active skincare line a try. My skin felt so nourished and calm. It’s also got a really nice scent that I look forward to every night.
#10 Clarins Double Serum Anti Aging
Ah the iconic Clarins skincare serum! I’ve used several bottles of this now and love this as an all in one serum especially if you want to prevent aging. My skin feels so soothed when I use this. It’s expensive but worth the splurge.

#11 Clarins Fix It Setting Spray
I really enjoy the Clarins Fix It Setting Spray not to prolong my makeup but to make powder products melt into my skin. When I use this, the most noticeable is that powder highlights seem to blend in and I look lit from within!
#12 Clarins Beauty Flash Peel
While I love “self care” time, I don’t always have the luxury of a 20 minute face mask. This mask is great for when you want to clear out dead skin within 10 minutes!
#13 Clarins Water Lip Stain
I love the staying power of this water lip stain. While I initially really loved these, I have not reached for them very often. I prefer a more natural lip look so this just doesn’t fit my lifestyle. But it’s a great formula if you want something super long lasting.
#14 Clarins Lip Perfector Glow
While I like the formula, I don’t like how the sponge applicator gets dirty really fast. Also ironically, I think the shades are a bit too pigmented for a lipgloss. This is the Clarins product for you if you like a bit of shimmer with your lip gloss.
#15 Clarins Skin Illusion Velvet Foundation
I have a few shades of the Clarins Skin Illusion Velvet foundation and I think this is best if you have oily skin. The formula is a bit too matte against my dry skin. I match 101N, 105W and 108W in the summer.
#16 Clarins Clear Out
This is a targeted treatment for pimples. I find that it works well but unfortunately dries with a white cast that looks like you used toothpaste on your face. So I’d only recommend this for overnight which is why it ranks so low on the list.
#17 Tinted Oleo Serum
Lastly, this is unfortunately the one makeup item that didn’t work for me. The formula of this foundation was both drying and oily at the same time. It had a very thin texture but it left my skin feeling oily while highlighting any dry skin patches. It is surprisingly well reviewed online but I’ve tried it several times and it’s never worked for me.
