A new beauty brand has arrived and she’s now available at Sephora Canada! I’m very excited to introduce Lixr Beauty and their unique waterless formulation so there’s never any preservatives in the products! This new Canadian beauty brand is all about effortless, clean beauty which instantly caught my attention. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on their first four products.
Lixr Beauty Lip Lixr Hydrating Tinted Lip Mask
I have to start with my favorite product from the brand! While I’m usually not a fan of lip products that require dipping in with a finger, this lip mask blew me away! I have the shade Bulgarian Rose and the color payoff is perfect. It’s only a hint of color but just enough to make my lips pop. The shine also makes my lip look plumper and hides all the dry flakiness.
The hydration aspect of this product is powered by lanolin, beeswax and argan oil. Although it’s marketed as a lip mask, I personally prefer using it throughout the day rather than as an overnight treatment, since I don’t want any tint transferring onto my pillowcase.

Lixr Beauty Skin Shake Skin Tint
The Lixr Beauty Skin Shake Bi-Phase Serum Skin Tint with Squalane is a very unique product both in terms of formulation and packaging. As the brand’s flagship product, it perfectly showcases Lixr’s waterless approach to beauty. Because the formula contains no water, squalane is the first ingredient, giving it a truly skincare-first feel.
Rather than thinking of this as a traditional foundation, it’s better described as a serum with a hint of tint. The coverage is quite light but surprisingly I have been really enjoying the fresh natural-looking base. My favorite way to apply is using a damp beauty sponge but fingers would do the job too!
Since I work mostly from home, I rarely wear foundation on a daily basis. But this is what I’ve been reaching for before video meetings because I love how hydrated, dewy, and even my skin looks on camera. I think this product would be especially appealing to those with dry skin who are looking for an everyday complexion product that combines lightweight coverage with nourishing skincare benefits.

Lixr Beauty Lixstix Lip + Cheek Tint Stick
I love how itty bitty this product is! With blush being all the rage right now, you’ll want to chuck this into your purse to top up during the day. This product applies pretty pigmented. But since the formula is so hydrating and creamy, I was easily able to blend it out using a stipple brush. My cheeks look flushed and dewy, just the way I like!

Lixr Beauty Multi Use Cream to Powder Concealer & Foundation Stick
The last product I’ll be sharing is their concealer & foundation stick. If you remember, the Skin Shake is more of a skincare serum and only provides a light coverage. For anything more, you’ll want to turn to the concealer & foundation stick. 3N Toffee is a really great shade match for me. The coverage slightly blends away but helps with softening the look of my dark marks. I’m not sure if I would use this all over the face as a foundation as the formula dries to a powder finish and also it’s only 5.2g of product.
