Sally Hansen Neutral Polishes - 10 Day Wear Test

When you think of summer, you may think of bright nails! But neutral nails is always on trend and I want to share a couple of shades from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range that can find a place in your summer nail polish collection. Since I work in a professional environment, not everyone is going to appreciate my rainbow nails. I found these Sally Hansen neutral polishes to help my nails look put together.

373 Nude Awakening – Canadian exclusive shade launched in Spring 2016

I was very surprised at how much I liked this shade! At first glance, it looks a bit boring and drab. But the color was very pigmented when applied. It was almost opaque with just one coat but I used two to ensure lasting time.

220 Arm Candy – Used by Madeline Poole backstage at NYFW

This shade is the most sheer and runny out of the three. Wearing it on it’s own provides a translucent finish as I can still see my natural nail lines. I think this would be best for French Manicures or a base for nail art, but a bit difficult to wear on it’s own.

340 Sweet Talker – the ultimate nude look

I grabbed this to test out first as the cute light pink shade immediately appealed to me. The shade was decently opaque in two coats which is pretty good considering how light the color is. You can still slightly see my nail lins. I think this is a very pretty color to start off as a base for nail art.

The Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes includes base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, and gel shine finish in it’s formula so you can be done in just one step. The new strengthener incorporates a keratin complex which is inspired by hair care technology. It claims to have a 10 day chip-resistant wear so I tested out Nude Awakening for 10 days.

Overall I was pretty impressed by how it held up over the 10 days. On the second day unfortunately my right hand index finger nail peeled and that was the biggest chip. Overall, not perfect but very impressive for 10 days especially on my left hand!!
