After getting too much sun on my trip to Klein Curacao and exploring the island tip to tip, I was exhausted and ready for relaxation! Luckily I had a waterfront massage in Curacao at Natural Blend Esthetics to look forward to. The massage gazebo is located on the beach of the Renaissance Hotel & Resort. I love massages but have never gotten one at the beach. Having the sound of the ocean and breeze totally adds to the relaxing experience.
Getting to Natural Blend Esthetics
It is a little bit difficult to find Natural Blend Esthetics. They are located on the beach of the Renaissance Hotel but the beach is actually on the 2nd floor. You can get here by going through the hotel lobby, going to the 2nd floor, and following the signs to the pool. The area surrounding Natural Blend Esthetics is amazing! The infinity pool at Renaissance is the nicest in Curacao and the beach area is well maintained too. Although you can’t stay and use the beach after your massage, you can definitely take a walk around and some photos!
Treatment
I received a 60 minute treatment which included a massage, a facial, and a foot/leg scrub. My masseuse, Tiffani, was super flexible with what treatments I wanted. I originally booked to do a full body scrub but because I was sunburnt we changed things last minute. The cabana had the full spa set up with massage bed, towels, and even pretty shells hanging from the ceiling. I was glad to see it was clean as it’s the first thing I look for in a spa.
The back massage I received was super relaxing! They use more of a swedish technique with light-medium pressure and with fast movement. I often go to RMTs and they press on pressure points for 15 seconds but this treatment is the opposite of that. Tiffani wasted no time and worked lightly through my knots and provided overall relaxation. I also really enjoyed the use of hot stones on my back and on my feet! I’ve never had this done before but enjoyed the sensation of heat and pressure from the stones.
Next, she turned me around and started with my facial. After finding out I have dry skin, she mixed a package of Goji Berry facial mask with the activator to create a fresh face mask. It was bright orange and smelled light and fresh. She put a thick layer of this on my face and neck to let the skin absorb for about 15-20 mins. During this time, she did a scrub on my feet and legs. I was slightly sunburnt on my shins and feet from my trip to Klein Curacao, so she used light pressure. But a tougher exfoliation would be wonderful if you’ve been trekking around as it’ll get rid of your dead skin cells.

With this deal, you can combine any 3 treatments in 90 minutes for the same price! I thought this was really great as often the spa packages contain treatments I don’t need or want. This way, you can get everything you need whether it’s a massage, manicure, or facial.
Overall I loved the ambiance of a waterfront massage in Curacao and I would highly recommend this! The treatments were all very professional and the products used felt nice and luxurious! The 90 minute special is the perfect splurge for the end of your vacation in Curacao!
